FIX IT - RESTORE IT - MAKE IT FLY !
Antique and Classic Aircraft Intl. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, restoration and flying of Antique (pre 1945) and Classic (1946-1959) aircraft of all types. We foster education and hands-on experience for all ages in the maintenace and restoration of our aircraft with the goal of returning each one to the sky and making them available to the public for exhibition and display, both static and flying.
We welcome volunteers to come down and get some hands-on experience with the retsoration projects, or to just observe the happenings and watch these old aircraft return to their former glory.
We are currently restoring a Russian Yak 12 military forward observation aircraft once used by many Eastern Bloc countries. Very few are still flying, this may be the only flying example in the U.S. once complete.
Right now we are looking for funding help to complete the rebuild of its original Ivchenko AI-14R 9 cylinder radial engine.
As a not-for-profit organization, we survive only through volunteer help and donations. Please help us fund the completion of this latest Yak 12 project. Your help will go a long way toward bringing this rare aircraft back to life.
